My second evening at Felixstowe this week, and it couldn't have been more different! Much less wind and much less people (as in no others at all, after yesterday's "crowds"!).

Had a look at the Dip, but really no wind at all. Moved to Fludgers as it should be a better direction for not blocking the SW wind, but not much there either. Didn't make much sense as it'd been steady all day... A few clouds in the distance made me hopeful, so I sat in the car for 10mins, and sure enough a little wind came back.

Actually plenty of wind for the Manta with a 7.4m (more away from the shore, too). Had a blast zooming around, slamming over the usual nasty chop on the way out, and relaxed gliding on the way in. Stopped after only 1/2hr or so though as light was fading fast and there are some nasty ropes around that I didn't want to hit with a big slalom fin...

A really nice relaxed session in the sunset with the sea all to myself :)
